2SILENT is a dynamic modern rock duo from Switzerland, founded in 2021 by Sascha Buchs and Darren Beutler. Known for their heavy guitars, anthemic hooks, and emotionally charged lyrics, the band has racked up over 400,000 Spotify streams and gained international airplay across the USA and Europe.

Their debut album, Silent Cries Keep Me Up at Night, produced with Grammy-nominated Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Nova Twins, Bullet For My Valentine), introduced 12 powerful tracks featuring guest appearances from Jessie Powell and Tobias Rische – a release that set the foundation for the band’s rise.

Now, 2SILENT has entered their boldest chapter yet with the release of their second album, Where Roses Weep (2025). Once again produced by Dodangoda, the record pushes their sound into darker, more cinematic territory while staying true to the raw energy and honesty that defines their music. Singles like How Long Can You Hold Your Breath, Roses Wilt, Mind Games, L.E.G.A.C.Y., and Rip Me Apart showcase the duo’s ability to blend intensity with vulnerability.

On stage, 2SILENT’s presence is just as gripping as on record. They have performed at festivals and concerts across Switzerland, including a standout show at Riverside Festival Aarburg, continuing to build their reputation as one of the country’s most promising modern rock acts.

Darren

Darren Beutler is an aspiring artist whose love of rock music was sparked by the powerful sounds of the genre on the car radio. He started playing the electric guitar at the age of six and took lessons, which laid the foundation for his musical journey.

At just ten years old, Darren wrote his first songs and discovered his passion for singing. Driven by his dream of presenting his own music on stage, he later took singing lessons to further perfect his skills.

At the age of 19, Darren and Sascha crossed paths. Just one year later, they decided to combine their creative talents and founded the band 2SILENT. Together they began composing and recording songs, with their shared vision and artistic synergy driving their creative journey.

Sascha

Sascha Buchs began his musical journey at the age of 7, which marked the official start of his musical career. Behind the drums, his passion for music ignited and laid the foundation for his lifelong enthusiasm.

At the age of 16, Sascha ventured into writing his own songs while taking guitar lessons and his usual drum lessons. By the age of 18, he had completed his first demos, some of which found their way onto the album.

Driven by a desire that went beyond the drumset, Sascha no longer saw himself behind the drums, but rather as a singer on stage. This marked a decisive turning point that led him to take singing lessons in order to broaden his musical horizons.

In a collaborative synergy with Darren, Sascha found an exceptional partnership and a perfect compromise that allowed them both to realize their dream as vocalists within the band. Their synergy and commitment to their musical endeavors was a testament to their shared vision and dedication to their craft.
