2SILENT – WHERE ROSES WEEP
Since forming in 2021, Swiss modern rock duo 2SILENT, founded by Sascha Buchs and Darren Beutler, has built every chapter of their career independently, from writing and recording music to producing music videos, creating live productions and booking international tours.
That relentless drive has taken the band from local stages in Switzerland to performances across the United Kingdom and Germany, including appearances at Greenfield, Wacken Open Air, Open See Festival and numerous other festivals and venues.
Produced by Grammy-nominated Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Nova Twins), WHERE ROSES WEEP captures the band's signature blend of cinematic soundscapes, soaring melodies, crushing guitars and emotionally driven songwriting. From the haunting Roses Wilt and the heartfelt Tell Me Is It Time To Go to the introspective Mind Games and the crushing heaviness of Monster In Me, the album showcases a band unafraid to balance vulnerability with raw power.

Darren
Darren Beutler is an aspiring artist whose love of rock music was sparked by the powerful sounds of the genre on the car radio. He started playing the electric guitar at the age of six and took lessons, which laid the foundation for his musical journey.
At just ten years old, Darren wrote his first songs and discovered his passion for singing. Driven by his dream of presenting his own music on stage, he later took singing lessons to further perfect his skills.
At the age of 19, Darren and Sascha crossed paths. Just one year later, they decided to combine their creative talents and founded the band 2SILENT. Together they began composing and recording songs, with their shared vision and artistic synergy driving their creative journey.
Sascha
Sascha Buchs began his musical journey at the age of 7, which marked the official start of his musical career. Behind the drums, his passion for music ignited and laid the foundation for his lifelong enthusiasm.
At the age of 16, Sascha ventured into writing his own songs while taking guitar lessons and his usual drum lessons. By the age of 18, he had completed his first demos, some of which found their way onto the album.
Driven by a desire that went beyond the drumset, Sascha no longer saw himself behind the drums, but rather as a singer on stage. This marked a decisive turning point that led him to take singing lessons in order to broaden his musical horizons.
In a collaborative synergy with Darren, Sascha found an exceptional partnership and a perfect compromise that allowed them both to realize their dream as vocalists within the band. Their synergy and commitment to their musical endeavors was a testament to their shared vision and dedication to their craft.
